Mike was born in upstate New York and grew up mostly in Delaware and Pennsylvania. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Scranton in Scranton, Pennsylvania, and a Master of Business Administration from Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Mike is a seasoned healthcare executive with over two decades of financial leadership experience in the medical sector. He served as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Knox Community Hospital in Mount Vernon, Ohio, from December 2007 until his retirement in June 2024. Mike participates in the community and serves on the Freedom Center and Habitat for Humanity Boards. In his spare time, he runs, golfs, and likes landscape and nightscape photography. Mike and his wife Elaine moved to Knox County in 2008 and reside at Apple Valley Lake, where they enjoy gardening, boating, camping, and cruising.
